Details:

Part of the fifth generation of popular F-Series the 1972 F-250 Ranger XLT 4x4 featured a 131-inch wheelbase, an 8-foot bed, and the deluxe Ranger XLT trim package. As delivered from the factory the Ford F-250s with 4x4 running gear rode well above the two-wheel-drive F-250, thus earning them the "Highboy" nickname. These trucks were equipped with the New Process NP435 - four-speed manual transmission and a transfer case separate from the transmission, which required the truck to ride higher than the two-wheel drive counterpart, hence the "Highboy" nickname.

Moebius Models' precision-tooled styrene model kit of the 1972 F-250 Ranger XLT 4x4 features a full OPTIONAL SNOW PLOW CAN BE DISPLAYED IN MULTIPLE POSITIONS interior, detailed chassis and 360/390 CID V-8 engine with NP435 transmission and Dana divorced transfer case. The completed model kit measures over 8 inches long, and includes clear and chrome-plated parts, soft PVC tires, decal sheet and detailed instructions. Paint and cement required for assembly - sold separately.
