Details:
The Avia S-199 was an Avia license-built Bf 109G (Avia S-99) manufactured using a Jumo 211F engine and its associated propeller. Lacking the nimbleness and control of its predecessor, the Avia S-199 was not popular with the Czech pilots, resulting in its nickname Mezek (Mule). Nevertheless, the S-199 served until 1957 with the Czech Air Force and served with the Israeli Air Force in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. This Weekend edition boxing of the Eduard 1:72 Avia S-199 contains Eduard's plastic sprues and markings for a quick straightforward building experience. Now you may build one of four different examples of the Avia S-199, used by the Czechoslovak and Israeli air forces, with the Erla canopy.
