From the first U-25s to the Dash 7 Line, creating authentic HO Scale models of your favorite GE power will be easy with the cab kits from Hi-Tech Details. Kits match prototype designs in use before and after 1972, with the correct side walls for 2 or 4 window cabs, as well as the plated over 4 window modification. Correct styles of headlights (square for pre 1972, oval for post 1972) are also included. Special high hood versions are available to match the designs specified by some roads.
Carefully engineered for prototype accuracy and ease of construction, each thinwall kit is designed for use on locos with scale-width hoods. Each cab features separate windows and doors of the correct size, which can be positioned open or closed. Separate door handles and flush-mounting glass are provided for extra realism. The roof contour matches the real thing too.
